I regularly get asked about the OVA – what it is and what it does.
It’s pretty simple really – we are a group of volunteers that celebrate the Old Village. We are not a housing association, or a non profit, we are not an elected body and we are neither a Chamber of Commerce or a Historical Society. We revel in all things Old Village – yes trains honking included. We are open to ANYONE, you don’t need an invite, it costs nothing to be part of it – we meet every second Wednesday of the month – you might be asked to hold a ladder or hand out leaflets or make Starkweather Park look like a graveyard or help weed some flower beds.
